For my weekend in Vermont, it was easy to bring along cozy statement pieces like this wilderness pattern wrap blouse. Bought light years ago, or more specifically, a time when I used to shop at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, this golden wrap blouse makes me think of seductive lounges and quick escapes (the sleeves would be great during a takeoff).
Given that I sometimes can’t get enough, and that more layers and that weight means more body heat, I did myself a favor and threw on a favorite chunky necklace of mine from Zara. This was the perfect outfit for a grand last-night dinner at Hen of the Wood where I feasted on another fine Vermont-bread steak. While this wrap blouse and chunky necklace are from another era, I have found some similar pieces for at the very end.
